Things Happen as They do, Not as we Expect - Change is on the Horizon.

The World, The Universe and Everything

It's been a wild time recently. The world has changed and EVERYONE has had to roll with the punches, adapt to jarring change and its been really fucking hard. But as Marcus Aurelius said:

"Is any man afraid of change? What can take place without change? What then is more pleasing or more suitable to the universal nature? And can you take a hot bath unless the wood for the fire undergoes a change? And can you be nourished unless the food undergoes a change? And can anything else that is useful be accomplished without change? Do you not see then that for yourself also to change is just the same, and equally necessary for the universal nature?"
We are made for change.

The Beginning

Cloverlily was borne from change, it began as a wedding photography partnership, then moved into small business design and photography, then to a camera strap business. Change is in Coverlily's DNA.

Ive never set out with a real plan, this is as much of a philosophical decision as anything else.

Next Steps

In the next few weeks, I am moving into a larger studio, ive invested a few grand into new tools, and spent much more on new machinery. Cloverlily is going to change again.

It's going to change into something better.

I will be closing my store for at most a week at the end of august when i get the keys to do the swap over and fit out.

What does this mean?

Im planning on releasing a few new lines, branching out from just camera harnesses and straps.

I have been prototyping wallets, purses, belts, drawer pulls etc etc etc.

Change is coming, and the change is good.

One of the prototypes

I am looking forward to receiving my Bull double harness soon. I reckon a Bull trouser belt in Antique would make a fine sight with the matching harness, if you start to make belts I would be pleased to know. Paul
